Dr. Srivastava did his MBBS from GSVM Medical College, training in General Surgery (M.S) from King George Medical University and Cardiothoracic Surgery (M.Ch) from GB Pant Hospital. He did his training in Pediatric and Neonatal Cardiac Surgery from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

A Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) is a Hole (defect) in the wall (septum) separating the pumping chambers of the heart (the right and left ventricles). If there is a large hole in this septum (VSD), then blood from the left ventricle at a very high pressure enters the right ventricle- increases blood pressure in the lungs (Pulmonary Artery Hypertension- PAH).
